89 Letters Sent

Before officially kicking off the contest, I thought it was important to do a letter campaign. The purposes were two-fold: first to mount one more effort to reach anyone I hadn’t thought of (ex. moving companies, landscapers, public works) and second to give veterinarians and animal shelters a head’s up in case people started bringing in cats to be scanned for microchips. I wrote and mailed 89 letters (maybe more) and waited for any responses. I got 3— one shelter, one rescue, and one farm all with no sign of Bhuja so far.
